I am passionate about supporting children and youth on their unique mental health journeys. In addition to my role as RCC-Q at Colour Wheel, I work as a school counsellor in Campbell River. With five years of experience as a primary teacher and a background in supporting adults with addictions, I understand the importance of developing trusting relationships with clients in order for growth to occur.
I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. Through play, I help children explore their emotions and develop social-emotional skills. My goal is to foster a space where every child feels heard and valued, empowering them to thrive emotionally and socially. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful forests, beaches, and mountains of the Comox Valley.

I am an intern counsellor in the final year of my Master of Counselling and bring a relational and experiential approach to my work with children, youth, and families. As someone who identifies as neurodiverse, my curiosity about healing, growth, and development began with learning to navigate my own challenges in a world that was not always built with me in mind. Over the years, I have worked in various capacities—starting in outdoor education and later providing respite care—a trajectory which has ignited my passion for experiential therapies.
I see counselling as an opportunity to explore ourselves in the present moment, get curious about our needs, express ourselves in a variety of ways, and build confidence in navigating life’s inevitable challenges. I believe meaningful change happens through connection, and I take a strengths-based approach that fosters curiosity and compassion. I work through a child-centered, neuro-affirming, and integrative lens, aiming to create a supportive space where children feel seen, heard, and valued in their unique experiences.
