I am passionate about supporting children and youth on their unique mental health journeys. In addition to my role as a student counsellor at Colour Wheel, I work as a school counsellor in Campbell River and am completing my Master’s in School Counselling. With five years of experience as a primary teacher and a background in supporting adults with addictions, I understand the importance of developing trusting relationships with clients in order for growth to occur.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. Through play, I help children explore their emotions and develop social-emotional skills. My goal is to foster a space where every child feels heard and valued, empowering them to thrive emotionally and socially. I am a Master of Counselling student with experience providing outreach support for neurodivergent children, youth and families, as well as a background in communication and outdoor education. These experiences have provided firsthand insight into the diverse ways we can approach healing, and the power of a strong relational scaffolding to facilitate connection, insight, growth, and a therapeutic experience. Ultimately, I aim to create an environment where clients feel safe enough to be empowered in their own journey towards healing and development.

I work from a person-centered, affirmative, and integrative lens, and approach all client work with a sense of gentle curiosity, non-judgement, and openness.
